The parts of this rack look high-quality and feel well-made. Assembling it was fast and easy. The assembled product looks great and is decently stable and sturdy. It has four pairs of support arms, allowing storage of at least four items that can be either surfboards, kayaks, canoes, or paddle boards. The arms are padded to protect this watersport equipment from getting scratched. I have at least four old surfboards that now have a place to stay.It is difficult to know the quality of this rack since the vendor chose not to specify what type of metal it is made of. Since this rack might come in contact with corrosive sea water regularly, rust-resistant materials coated with an anti-rust layer, such as aluminum, stainless steel, and steel, are preferred. The unwillingness of the vendor to specify what type of metal is used raises suspicion that it might be iron, which is less expensive, more susceptible to rust, and overall not as good. If it was made of stainless steel or aluminum, I do not think the vendor would hesitate to let it be known. This rack looks nice and is well-made. However, for not letting the consumers know clearly what type of metal it is made of, one star is deducted.
