It is just a 3D printed piece. But that is not a knock on the product, the battery fits nicely. I do wish it held the battery a little tighter though. Why? Because the top of the battery leans out away from the wall and if the channels where the battery slides into the mount were a little smaller the battery would not do this. I just feel that over time, this will put a lot of pressure on the mounting anchors, especially the top one and it will come out of the wall. But to be fair to this mount, I do not think this will be an issue in a year. No, I think it will be much further down the road before this becomes an issue. And, I probably could have gotten the top mounting hole lined up with a stud, which would negate this issues. Also, the mounting holes are offset from one another. I am not sure if you could get both holes lined up with a stud as I did not measure or investigate this. The only reason I mention it being 3D printed is just so anyone reads this they know what they are getting. It came well packaged and included the mounting hardware (2 screws and 2 drywall anchors).I want to be clear, I am not bashing this mount for any reason. I am just pointing out things that some may want to consider or think about when buying it.
