I have used these bags for years to store my sewing and machine embroidery items.Still have all my original ones and are in good shapeIf you just want a durable bag that's several notches above a ZipLock, this is it. I like zippered cloth or plastic bags, but I really like this clear mesh material that offers protection and visibility. The mesh-reinforced clear PVC material will last and last and you can see what's inside. This bag is 5x13 inches with "zero" thickness. In other words, it's manufactured by taking two pieces of material and stitching around three sides, then turning it inside out. That said, it can hold a lot. I estimate three softballs could fit. Or a paperback book, an orange, your wallet and your phone for a trip to the beach.Only drawback is lack of a hanging loop and carabiner. The zipper is adequate but very fine teeth. Not the strongest but looks to last if not abused. If you want to organize your luggage or camera bag with small stuff, this is fine. For more durable option, check out the Arsenal line of mesh bags This is exactly what I wanted. I keep electronic copies of all our important papers but I don't throw out the hard copy. I keep 7 year's worth of hard copies without bothering to file each piece of paper. I just keep the papers in a large box loose. I wanted a way to divide the papers by year so that, on the rare occasion I need to refer back to the hard copy, I can just rummage through the specific year. These bags are the perfect size to store a year's worth of hard copy papers, including the year we refinanced our home, purchased investment property, remodeled it and put it onto the rental market. Lots and lots of paper but it all fit into a single bag.I love this bag so much I want to get another one. It is unavailable at the moment so it must be a popular item. I like that it fits in my tote very easily and it’s perfect for my craft projects. It also keeps them pretty clean.I purchased these specifically to keep various quilting projects together. I put them to use immediately upon receiving them. I can easily see my projects (and there are many) and find all the little pieces together. This is my second mesh bag in this size and about the fourth or fifth of this type of product I have purchased.I still have them all and they are in great condition. I used this size to carry my art brushes and one to store my garden flags when not in use.I have other sizes that I can carry letter-size documents for projects. When I moved recently I filled one with all the paperwork I would need in hand for the moving in/moving out process and it made it so simple. No hunting through boxes.Great water-resistant organization tool that allows you to transport, store and view items. Highly recommended !Love these bags. Great for keeping 12x12 papers or a paper pad. A bit on the pricey side, but works well. Two of the four bags I ordered were the correct size12 x 16. But the other two bags were in packaging labeled 12 x 16 but the product itself was a much smaller size. I thought I would get over being bummed by this but I didn't. I'm not complaining about the product itself only the poor quality control on the packaging of the merchandise at the factory.NOT mesh, solid plastic. Needed airflow, there is none, it's NOT a mesh bag, solid plastic.
